Miranza Passeig Mallorca, formerly known as UOB (Unidad Oftalmológica Balear), has been a benchmark in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases for 35 years. Initially part of Clínica Palmaplanas in Palma de Mallorca, the centre has remained at the forefront over its thirty-plus years in the application of Lasik and refractive surgery techniques on the island, and leads the way in outpatient cataract surgery (no hospitalisation), as well as the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and retina diseases.
Miranza Passeig Mallorca now stands at the forefront nationwide in corneal surgery, applying advanced selective corneal transplantation techniques that improve the results of surgery and ensure fast eyesight recovery. The clinic employs a full medical team led by Dr Emeterio Orduña Domingo and supported by the most advanced technology.
